Firearm Related Services
Firearm Safety Certificate $25
Firearm Purchase Requirements:
Valid Firearm Safety Certificate, Real ID or ID with matching address and second form of proof of residency.
Ammo Background Check & Requirements:
While most customers can utilize the $1, usually instant, background check, customers who have moved since they last purchased a firearm in CA and/or other persons without a firearm of record in the CA database will have to utilize the more expensive $19 background check. See staff in-store for more info.
Private Party Transfers $90
Seller:
1. Needs valid CA DL/ID or Mil ID with permanent orders for CA.
2. Seller does paperwork (CA DROS).
Buyer:
1. Needs valid CA DL/ID or Mil ID with permanent orders for CA.
2. Buyer needs proof of CA residency.
3. Buyer needs valid FSC or exemption to FSC.
4. Buyer does paperwork (CA DROS and ATF 4473).
5. Buyer waits 10 days.
6. Buyer does safe handling demonstration, unless FSC exempt.
7. CA FFL dealer releases firearm to buyer, if there are no CA DOJ holds/rejections.
